  1. Stop smoking
  2. Avoid overexercising which may cause overheating of the testicles-particularly prolonged cycling & horse riding
  3. Stop using a laptop on your lap-causes overheating
  4. Avoid illicit drug use ie use of anabolic steroids, Cannabis etc
  5. Eat a healthy balanced diet with plent of fruit & veg
  6. Avoid very hot baths, saunas etc
  7. Take a [1] male fertility supplement-studies have shown that trace elements in the diet can play a significant role in male fertility
  8. Reduce your alcohol intake

My other half has been using his laptop like this for years and we were totally unaware that it could cause a problem. We have been undergoing investigations for infertility and his sperm count has come back less than ideal, and no one at the GP or clinic has ever mentioned this ! Shouldn’t laptops carry a health warning ! Thank you for your advice. Just got to break the news to him that he might have to put his beloved laptop on the table.
